Local Committee "Rolls Up Their Sleeves"
Soccer Streets has established an Executive Committee of its National Board of Directors.
This committee is unique in that it is composed entirely of members who reside in the metro Atlanta area. The
local Executive Committee meets monthly and assumes the responsibility of overseeing the daily operations within
the national office in Jonesboro, GA. Development of this committee has greatly assisted staff in organizational
development that include fiscal planning and management, programmatic issues, marketing and public relations.
Recommendations made by this committee are subject to approval by the full Board of Directors.
The committee comes with excellent leadership skills and is quite diverse in
its make up and business background. The members are: Marilyn Childress, Board Vice Chairperson (Georgia Womenís
Intersport Network) Susanne Conlon (Georgia State Soccer Association), Pam Williamson (Independent Consultant),
Jeanne Manning (Atlanta Public Schools), State of Georgia Representative Stephanie Stuckey (Attorney), Tony
Byrne (Meristar), Roger Dottin (MARTA) and Karen Siener (Centers for Disease Control).
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Atlanta
Airport Westin Hotel.
